Founded in 1993, it was designed by architect Piero Mancinelli and built within a mostly wooded area once property of the Visconti family.

The course is not very long, but on account of the many natural obstacles (trees, ponds, streams) the player must often place the ball carefully to play the next shot with ease.

The feature of the course is that it consists of six broad holes on the plain, six holes in the woods and eventually six holes in a hilly area. The greens on Holes 2, 6, 9, 11 and 18 are close to the Club House.

The hilly course affords breathtaking views of Monte Rosa and Lago Maggiore and makes the game exciting and enjoyable for players of all levels, requiring care and game strategy.

With this in mind, Golf dei Laghi has created a practice area centrally situated for easy access from the club house. Our driving range has 20 uncovered and 6 covered positions. We also boast a pitching, bunker and putting practice area with plenty of room for everyone.

The attractive club house, constructed on the original site of Visconti family stables, is centrally situated to allow for an easy and quick access to all holes and the practice area.

The bar and restaurant, recently awarded the “Premio Mistretta” for best club dining, is well frequented by members and friends.
This is where one can enjoy a drink or meal after a game in a friendly environment.
Many special dinners are organized throughout the year.
The change rooms are spacious and both the men’s and the women’s boast their own sauna.

The city traffic is soon forgotten: less than an hour from Milan, just 20 minutes from Malpensa Airport and Varese, not a long way from Switzerland.
